Dr Dominic McGowan

Dr Dominic McGowan obtained a BSc in Business and Management studies before deciding to embark on a career in Medicine. Completing his medical school training in Aberdeen he moved to Leeds for his core Radiology training at the West Yorkshire Academy. The lure of Aberdeen was too much so he returned to undertake Urology/Non-Vascular Interventional Radiology Training. He finally took the plunge and did his full Vascular/Non Vascular Interventional Radiology Training in Dundee before starting his consultant job in Aberdeen in 2023. His spare time is spent trying to survive fatherhood (2 children under 4), squeezing in a gym session, finding a good place for a midday nap and torturing himself by supporting Arsenal.
