The Undergraduate IR Curriculum

IR has transitioned from being a purely procedure-based specialty to a true clinical specialty that is intimately involved in the clinical management of patients.

CIRSE has created a short document that summarises the main conditions that IR is involved in at a level that is relevant to medical students. The curriculum is for ALL medical students, not just those interested in a career in interventional radiology. It includes some key summaries about the clinical management of each condition, as well as the role of IR in managing the condition.
