Through the Wire: A Career in Emergency IR

Dr Susan Anthony is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where she previously served as Clinical Lead and Director of Radiology (2012–2018). Sh qualified from University College Hospital Medical School, London, in 1992, and completed her radiology training at the Royal Free Hospital before moving to Oxford in 2005.Her specialist interests include non-invasive vascular and cardiac imaging, endovascular and oncologic interventions, and image-guided therapies such as aortic stent grafting, uterine arter embolisation, and selective internal radiation therapy.

Dr Anthony is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Oxford, where she teaches anatomy and radiology and mentors trainees in interventional radiology.
