Learning objectives
Understand the basic principles of paediatric radiology, including the differences in technique and interpretation compared to adult radiology.
Identify common paediatric conditions that can be diagnosed through radiology, such as pneumonia and bone fractures.
Recognize the radiographic signs and features of child abuse, and know the appropriate steps to take in such cases.
Learn how to interpret common imaging studies in paediatric patients, such as chest X-rays, CT scans and ultrasounds.
