Dr Camilo Ruiz-Bedoya is a first-year Radiology Registrar and NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Wessex. A medical graduate of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, he completed postdoctoral research fellowships in molecular imaging at Johns Hopkins University and King’s College London. He went on to complete Foundation Training in the Wessex Deanery before working as a Senior House Officer in Emergency Medicine at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. His research focuses on translational imaging, bridging preclinical innovation with clinical application to improve patient care.
