The IR Education Network is a collaboration between IR Juniors, medical school radiology societies and hospitals in the UK. We work together to create educational opportunities in interventional radiology, including events and webinars. Clinical Radiology Applications Series

IR Juniors is running a series of 4 sessions on top tips about the UK Radiology Application Process. Keep an eye out on our social media for updates! We will record some sessions on our YouTube channel.

National Interventional Radiology Symposium

The National Interventional Radiology Symposium in 2019 was the first national IR conference aimed at medical students and junior doctors. Plans are in place to re-run this event with bigger and brighter content!

Interventional Radiology Journal Club

We are partnering with the British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) Trainee Committee to bring you a monthly journal club discussing all things academic IR. Each month features a junior presenting an IR paper, followed by panel discussion. 

UK Radiology Finals Conference

IR Juniors and Bart’s Radiology Society are proud to present the UK Radiology Finals Conference 2020 #UKRFC.


This will be a one-day high yield course covering all the radiology you need for medical school finals and life as an F1!

Virtual IR Elective with Proximie

We are ​partnering with Proximie to create a virtual IR experience for medical students and junior doctors. Our pilot project takes place at Guys & St Thomas' Hospitals and involves a mixture of live and recorded cases.  ​ 


TasteIR Webinar Series with BSIRT & RiiSE

The TasteIR Webinar Series was our first webinar series for medical students and junior doctors. The series represents a collaboration with BSIR and RiiSE and was incredibly successful amongst medical students.
