About Us

IR Juniors is a UK-founded, international group of aspiring interventional radiologists who are passionate about the field and want to help spread the word about what this amazing speciality has to offer. We were founded in December 2019 by 4 foundation doctors (Indrajeet Mandal, Sachin Modi, Navin Nagesh & Niall Burke) with Dr Gregory Makris, and have rapidly grown since then.

Our aims are to provide medical students and junior doctors with career information, opportunities and events in interventional radiology, and to advocate for minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to the wider public. IRJ consists of a number of sections, each with its own team.

We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us. If you would like to join the IR juniors team, please get in touch with us!
